Reporting to the Operations Coordinator of On the Spot Detailing's Auction Department and working hand in hand with On the Spots client Dent Wizard, the Assistant Manager leads the daily activities of a team of Detailers to ensure the Detail Services run smoothly, and efficiently. as well as maintaining working relationships with customers and vendors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert to support management/detailer development, goal-setting implementation, and performance improvement plans.
- Support management in identifying and focusing on employee retention and technical skill improvements.
- Understand and effectively communicate overall auction/client goals and performance metrics, while focusing on the employee’s role and accountability in the achievement of those goals.
- Foster relationships with managers and employees to drive open lines of communication.
- Working with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure all equipment is maintained and serviced correctly to reduce or eliminate downtime and also to ensure appropriate supply levels are maintained.
- Communicate weekly with Senior Management as to Progress, Challenges, and Team Developmental needs.

- Bi-lingual (Spanish-English).
Work experience:
The successful candidate will ideally have 2 years of experience in several of the following areas:
- Management of a labor-intensive light industrial business with a skilled manual workforce.
- Management of multiple shifts.
- Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Office, and digital media generally.
- Automotive dealer Service Advisor/ Manager or Management of Auction Operations a plus.
